This is the epic off-road Huntress, an all-electric concept car designed for the world’s most daring drivers.

Designed by Connery Xu, the off-roader looks like it’s been driven straight out of the Transformers franchise.

The Huntress has an independent suspension system allowing each wheel to rise and lower autonomously over uneven terrains – making it look like a giant crab crawling across the sand.

The 2-seater also has a unique body that can twist and articulate.

The headlights – which are attached to the wheel suspension – are also designed to rotate so light isn’t compromised when the road ahead is rocky.

The headlights alone look like something out of a sci-fi movie.

It also has a panel of LED lights on the body of the car.

The Huntress might be an off-road beast, but the designer didn’t skimp when it came to luxury details.

It features two huge gull-wing doors which open up to reveal a comfortable 2-seater cabin.

Connery Xu also designed the Huntress concept car to be all-electric.

The electric motors would be housed at the back of the car alongside two spare tires – which are necessities when thrashing the vehicle on some of the most difficult terrains.

While the car is still a concept and there is no word on whether it will become a reality, it would certainly fill a previously untouched market for electric off-roaders.

Supercar Blondie will be covering all the latest and greatest concept cars when the team travels to California for Pebble Beach Concours.

Held at the Pebble Beach Golf Links, the greens will be turned into an expensive parking lot for the rarest and most impressive cars in the world.

On one side of the clubhouse will be a range of immaculate classic cars.

And on the other, will be Concept Car Lawn.

Here, a host of carmakers will be showing off their latest concept designs and upcoming supercars.

While there’s no word as to whether the Huntress will be on show, other concepts like the re-imagined DeLorean will be unveiled for the first time.
