American artist paints a stranger’s Mini
There are liveries, and there are paint jobs.
We’ve seen a fair share of cars get custom liveries, such as the Marlboro McLaren and one-off Chiron made for Jean Bugatti himself.
But very rarely does a custom hand-painted job come along that knocks our socks off.
Well, once, but it took Mansory to get hold of a Mercedes G-Class with a bit of monopoly money.
But to put faith in a complete stranger to paint your car, that takes cojones.
Which is why it’s a good job that this Mini owner put her trust in the right American artist.

Having asked a range of people on the streets to ‘paint their car’, content creator and artist MARKO found one woman willing to hand over the keys to her Mini before attending an exclusive car meet.
The Mini already had dragon-like ears poking out the roof, but it was stock black in its paintwork.
That was until Marko wrapped it in white and got to work with his pencil and brush.
Showcased on YouTube, the creator took inspiration from drawings and sketches sourced by the owner and crafted an incredible monochrome paint job filled with animals, faces, and art.
Is this the best paint job we’ve ever seen?
With a very cartoon-like palette and meticulous care, the American artist invited the owner back to check out the design.
The final product was phenomenal and left the owner speechless.

Customized paint jobs are a very precise art, so much so that only one man at Rolls-Royce is allowed to get his hands on the bodywork, while Ferrari might be scrapping the process altogether.
Still, others like MARKO and bold manufacturers like BMW are getting crazy with it.
The latter even tattoos its cars with invisible ink, or creates three-layered paint jobs that fade in and out with the touch of a button.
This Mini is certainly one that will stand out from the crowd, and for all the right reasons.
