Fans lauded Universal Pictures’ decision to commission a Veilside Nissan Z for the next Fast movie.
After all, this is what made us fall in love with the Fast franchise in the first place: fast, heavily tuned sports cars.
Founded in Japan in 1990, Veilside has appeared in seven Fast and Furious films, including the 2001 movie that started the franchise.
CHECK THIS OUT!
Mind you, Veilside’s most popular Fast and Furious car is probably the Mazda RX-7 driven by Han in Tokyo Drift.
The Nissan you see here actually draws its inspiration from that very car.
It even sports a similar two-tone colorway in lava orange and black.
Based on the MY 2024 Nissan Z, VeilSide calls it the FFZ400.
In addition to the iconic color combo, it also features a sizeable rear spoiler, a new body kit and 20-inch forged alloys, all from VeilSide’s catalog.
Performance-wise, VeilSide fitted an upgraded ECU and a custom-built exhaust so you can expect it to be a lot more powerful than the 400-hp standard Nissan Z.
No details have been shared but we can expect to learn more after the car’s debut.
Speaking of, the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon kicks off today, January 13.
