The new Thrustmaster racing wheel is an all-in-one tool for gamers
The first and key thing we have to point out about the T248R is that it’s very versatile.
If you’re a hardcore sim racer with thousands of wins under your belt, you can use it.
But if you’re a complete newbie and have never used a simulator steering wheel before, it’ll work for you too.
It’s compatible with over 40 racing titles across three gaming platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
The T248R is probably less expensive than you think, as it’s priced at $349.99.

The steering wheel generates actual torque
Thrustmaster’s T248R features something called a ‘dynamic Hybrid Drive (T-HD) Force Feedback system’.
In simple terms, it’s like its own little engine that generates torque, which the gamer can use as feedback.
The wheel generates up to 3.1 Nm of torque and 48W of constant power.

And it also has three BOOST modes that allow you to adjust things like feedback intensity depending on a few factors such as race conditions, and of course, personal preferences.
Upholstered in perforated leather, the 11-inch (28CM) wheel also incorporates faux carbon fiber accents and an LCD screen with 20 customizable displays, 25 action buttons, and four LEDs to provide real-time telemetry.
Among other things, you can check your speed, RPM, and lap times, and so on.

With the steering wheel, you also get a magnetic pedal set with adjustable pressure modes to replicate real-world braking dynamics and to suit your driving style.
And the fact that it looks great, design-wise, doesn’t hurt.
