This YouTuber paid a visit to an abandoned mansion that still has cars hidden in its bushes, including a Porsche 911 Carrera 4.

The Bearded Explorer is no stranger to derelict houses and car graveyards, but this was still a remarkable find.

This property was an abandoned manor house out in the English countryside that hadn’t been lived in for 20 years.

As grand as the house was inside, the cars sitting outside of it were just as much of a draw.

Colin Smith, known online as The Bearded Explorer, has been visiting properties around the world for years.

He’s seen it all, from deserted celebrity mansions to spooky abandoned hotels.

And along the way, he’s seen his fair share of cars – although they’re not always in the best shape when he comes across them.

This time around would be no different as he paid a visit to a deserted manor out in the British countryside.

It’d been left untouched for decades, so it wasn’t in its prime.

A few years ago, it had belonged to a builder who had plans to renovate it.

However, the project was abandoned when planning permissions couldn’t be secured.

Even getting to the front door of this place was a mission for Smith and his team, as overgrowth had well and truly taken over.

However, it would be worthwhile once they were inside.

The abandoned mansion was decked out in rooms with original features, including fireplaces, stonework, and ornate doors.

In another life, this place would have been the best of classical British architecture – now it was the decaying ruins of something that once was.

“This is stunning, absolutely stunning,” Smith commented.

But the house does have a splash of modernism to it – a DVD collection including High School Musical 2 and Freaky Friday is hardly super old, is it?

Then again, with how much of a novelty DVDs are these days, this lineup may be as historical as everything else.

Outside of the house, there were several old cars sitting in the bushes, including a Jeep Cherokee and a Mark 1 Toyota MR2.

But the highlight was undoubtedly a Porsche 911 Carrera 4.

Taking a closer look at the abandoned Porsche

There’s no way to sugarcoat it – this Porsche was in a bad state.

Half-buried beneath foliage, the car’s insides were swamped in tires, wood, and cobwebs.

“Look at this poor Porsche…this is absolutely terrible,” Smith lamented.

“Even the leather seats are starting to deteriorate.

“A car like this should never end up in this situation.”

This trip was just one of the many incredible adventures Smith has been on.

Not only has he paid a visit to Johnny Depp’s deserted Hampshire mansion, but he’s also found some rare car gems like this abandoned Aston Martin V12 Vantage.

And how could we forget the time he found an abandoned Ferrari F1 car on a derelict farm?
