Toyota’s secret GT supercar is finally here
For years, Toyota has planned a secret GT supercar, and it’s been one of the worst-kept secrets in the industry.
Auto fans across the globe have been speculating as to what this secret GT supercar might actually be.
Yesterday, a close-to-final version of it showed up in Goodwood, UK.
Even among the big hitters of the Festival of Speed, this secret car stood out.
It’s still wrapped in production camouflage, so details are very scarce about the supercar itself.
The powertrain, of course, is perhaps the biggest question mark of them all.
Based on its appearance during the livestream, it sounds like a very impressive V8 setup.
The camouflage wrapping conceals what looks to be the final bodywork design.
Despite climbing the legendary hill at a leisurely pace, the secret supercar wowed everyone.
Could this Toyota offering…be a Lexus?!
It has been a process that has completely captured the imagination of the entire car world.
Over the past few weeks and months, several prototypes have been spotted around the globe.
The secret GT supercar was recently seen carving through the roads of California.
It’s also been spotted being put through its paces at various racetracks.
This includes, of course, the legendary Nürburgring circuit in Germany.

One of the most interesting questions surrounding the secret GT supercar is actually the badging itself.
Rumors have spread that the car could be a Toyota Gazoo Racing offering.
But the bigger rumors have suggested that it might be the long-awaited Lexus LFR.
A successor to the legendary LFA has long been the source of whispers and hushed conversation.
Could this secret GT supercar actually end up being a replacement for the LFA?
