Toyota made the whole car world go mad because they’re about to unveil three new vehicles, one of which is potentially the long-awaited Lexus LFA successor.

The Japanese automaker only shared one teaser image, and there are three vehicles in it.

Two definitely look like supercars.

And the third one looks… different.

Toyota has been reshuffling its cards

Toyota sells ‘regular’ cars under its Toyota brand, and sells high-end vehicles under Lexus.

But the Japanese automaker also added a third brand called Century.

Ideally, Toyota would like to use Century to market cars that could potentially rival Rolls-Royce or Bentley.

That sounds a little too ambitious, but then again, everyone slammed the Lexus LFA when it first came out, and now everyone calls it an icon.

And the LFA is the real protagonist here, because one of these three cars could be the new LFA.

At least two of these three vehicles definitely look like supercars, and one looks suspiciously similar to the GR GT we saw a few months ago.

Interestingly, the third vehicle – the one on the right – looks like it could be a muscle car.

The Lexus LFA became iconic almost by accident

The LFA was unveiled around 15 years ago, and very few people understood it at first.

It was a $375,000 vehicle limited to 500 units… built by Lexus.

At the time, some people thought the idea was a little strange, like a forced attempt to go upmarket.

But then the reviews poured in, and the verdict was nearly unanimous – practically everyone called it a great car, thanks largely to its engine.

And now the $375,000 ticket price sounds like a bargain, because you need a lot more than that to buy one today.

Maybe that’s the reason why Toyota waited 15 years before replacing it.

They didn’t want to jinx it.

We’ll find out more on December 5.
