When this man spotted a mystery car outside his Uber, he had no idea he was looking at an extremely rare $1 million supercar.
It’s not uncommon for car sightings to be shared to the internet in the hopes that someone can identify it.
But this sighting was exceptional in its rarity.
While this man already knew it was an Aston Martin, he wasn’t aware of just how special it was.
This Aston Martin supercar was something special
A lot of distinctive cars have graced the pages of Reddit over the years, with one burning question: “What is this?”
For one user, it was a McLaren F1 owned by the second-richest family in the world.
For another, it was one of the rarest cars in the world.

There’s no shortage of cars doing the rounds on that site, but this one is a great sighting even by Reddit’s standards.
A user, who was riding along in a Uber, spotted the mystery car pulling up beside his and decided to snap some pictures.
“Saw this out the window of my Uber lol. What car is it? Aston Martin something I think? Does it deserve to be here?” he asked.
Redditors came back and gave him a definitive answer, almost in unision.
This was the Aston Martin Valhalla.
Key Features: Aston Martin Valhalla
Powertrain: Plug-in hybrid system, combining a mid-mounted 4.0-liter V8 engine with three electric motors.
Top Speed: 217mph
0–62 mph: 2.5 seconds
Drive Modes: EV Mode, Sport Mode, Sport+
Starting Price: $1,000,000
Just how rare is the Aston Martin Valhalla?
The Aston Martin Valhalla is one of two hypercars originally conceived by Aston in partnership with Red Bull, the other being the Valkyrie.
This is a very exclusive car, with only 999 available worldwide.
TV chef Gordon Ramsay was lucky enough to get his hands on one, as he was spotted driving around London in one.
Our own Supercar Blondie, aka Alex Hirschi, has also had the opportunity to drive one.
And as if all of that wasn’t enough, it received the coveted stamp of approvals that all manufacturers want for their cars – a link to the James Bond franchise.
