This UFO-shaped floating condo will allow you to live in Monaco, Dubai, Miami, or basically just wherever else there’s water.
And then when the scenery around you gets boring, you can just move it somewhere else.
So how does it work?

Dubbed ‘Anthénea’, the floating condo is essentially an ultra-sophisticated boat and can be moored just like normal vessels.
Once you’ve reached a destination you like, you simply use the anchor and the sand screw and ‘set up camp’.
Speaking of which, the Anthénea does not actually use a traditional anchor.
Instead, it uses an innovative anchoring system that makes it easier to operate, while also minimizing damage to the seabed.
And there’s more good news because the pod is fitted with solar panels, which means it is self-sufficient.
So what’s inside? The pod has a diameter of 9.4 meters (31 feet) and enough room for a family of four.

In addition to that, you’ve got a lounge bar and a rooftop that’s large enough to accommodate up to 12 guests.
There are several different models available.
The idea is to use the smaller ones as private condos, and then use the larger ones for other things.
For example, the company that makes them says they want to team up with hotels to turn them into floating spas and restaurants.
Or you can also turn them into an AirBnB.
So the big question is: how much?
The smallest available pod will set you back $365,000.
Meanwhile, the largest, top-of-the-line pod costs $730,000.
At the end of the day, this UFO-shaped floating condo is actually cheaper than buying an apartment – or even a yacht – in Monaco or Miami.
