This Porsche Boxster might be the worst on the planet after being found by a U.K. YouTuber.

The Boxster has been one of Porsche’s more successful cars, winning awards for performance and affordability.

But just as is with any premium car, many do end up being discarded in the wastelands.

This particular Porsche Boxster has seen much better days and will take an extreme effort to restore.

Is this the worst Porsche Boxster in the world?

Unfortunately for the luxury sports car brand, we’ve seen many a Porsche Boxster end up looking worse for wear.

But that doesn’t stop restorers from getting their mits into these quirky German cars. One man in particular made a diamond out of a rough Boxster for just $2,400.

Now, one U.K. man has found what can only be touted as the ‘worst Porsche Boxster ever’, having undergone some mindboggling surgery that turned it into a Spyder.

Harry Dewhurst – AKA Cash Machine Cars on YouTube – from Sussex, U.K., found this 2010 Porsche Boxster at a local yard.

He vowed it would be the latest of many restoration projects on his channel.

The shocking car appeared in a sorry state at first glance, with lots of very visible wear and tear.

But upon further inspection, it was much, much worse.

The car had begun to warp into a Spyder, with a previous owner adding various body parts from different models without much care or meticulous attention.

Still, Dewhurst has vowed to bring it back to life… somehow.

U.K. man pledges to revive this disastrous Porsche

Porsche is an excellent European carmaker and many of their beautiful models are worth bringing back from the brink of death.

Take this flooded 993 for example – it was barely recognizable, but a good rebuild saw it become a prized possession once again.

Dewhurst had a similar ambition, paying £700 – around $1,000 – for the Porsche Boxster to restore it as best he could.

The first upload in the series saw the U.K. mechanic assess the shoddy work to the car and begin making necessary changes to get it driveable.

He started with simple checks like a battery change and fresh oil and gas, which kicked the car into a smokey flutter, only to unearth further issues, including a leaky rad.

A second upload saw the YouTuber change the seats from muddy maroon to their prime red status.

Still, there’s a ton of work to be done, and the finished article is difficult to foresee, given its bizarre mishmash of body pieces.

It’s definitely one of the toughest Porsche rebuilds that we’ve ever seen, despite others being in equally dire straits.

Let’s hope Dewhurst makes it to the finish line in one piece!
