Supercars come at many different price points, often tipping the top end of the scale, at hundreds of thousands of dollars.
So, in search of a bargain, one gearhead took a budget of $54,000 and tried to see which depreciated supercar he could bag.
From Lamborghini to Maserati and even Aston Martin, there were lots of options on offer.
But one brand clearly took the crown, and you may be shocked at what the frontrunner was.

It was all eyes on this car enthusiast as he explored what depreciated supercar options he had
YouTuber SOL– AKA Supercars of London – is no stranger to owning an impressive daily driver, but instead of splashing huge amounts of cash, he decided to set a strict $54,000 budget.

Touring around two dealerships, there were many depreciated supercar options to choose from, as well as some cars that still held major amounts of value.
From Ferrari to Brabus, flashy models adorned the shop floor, but one particular depreciated supercar tickled his fancy straight away.
A bright white Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale took center stage, and the YouTuber took it out for a test drive to really examine the powertrain and drivability.
He was seriously impressed with race mode as well as the general feel of the car, but his search was still far from over.

The search continued, and one brand continued to impress
When the gearhead moved onto the next dealership, Maserati models continued to catch his eye.

This time, though, a convertible was the shining star, which the YouTuber explained would be perfect for a European road trip, especially in the summer in the South of France.
An Aston Martin DB9 that sat at around $40,000 also impressed, making the decision of which car to ultimately purchase a difficult one.
Both cars put up a clear fight, but only one could be his new daily driver.

Although the video ended on a cliffhanger, we think his mind was swayed in one direction.
Which one would you choose?
Remember, even though they are initially cheap, the maintenance and bills for an older car can often end up so expensive that it becomes a loss rather than an investment.
So, our advice is to choose carefully and really do your research.
