This is the emotional and ‘very special’ flight a United Airlines pilot ‘waited 30 years for’ – and it looked as though it was worth the wait.
Captain Tom Myer is a pilot for United Airlines, and he spent decades waiting for a very special flight and was keen to share the moment with those on board.
“I’ve been waiting thirty years to fly this exact flight,” Captain Tom announced over the plane’s speaker system. “Your first officer today is my son, Bradley Myer.”
The sweet moment struck a chord with passengers who burst into a round of applause for the father-and-son duo. How lovely is that?
