This urban explorer uncovered a left-behind NASCAR car at an abandoned Kentucky track.
YouTuber 2swag took his one million subscribers along with him to the Kentucky Speedway.
He found a lot of things during his exploration.
But the abandoned NASCAR car was easily the highlight.

Exploring an abandoned Kentucky racetrack and finding deserted NASCAR car
2swag paid a visit to the Kentucky Speedway, which opened up back in 2000.
Peaking in 2011, it was dropped from NASCAR’s schedule in 2020 due to declining attendance figures.
In the years since, it has been left abandoned and now looks rather eerie.

It’s strange to think that this stadium once hosted upwards of 100,000 people, as it’s a total ghost town now.
On the grounds of the racetrack are several vehicles, including an ambulance and a fire truck.
But let’s be honest, the real draw here was the abandoned NASCAR car.

It had held up remarkably well – besides the spider webs that had built up inside of it.
One of the explorers was bemused about why the car had fake headlights plastered on the front.
By fake, we mean totally non-functional wrapping.

His friend explained that it was just to give the car a ‘normal look’, which does work from a distance.
Up close, it looks very unnatural that the car has fake lights.
Urban explorers are always coming across cool stuff
Urban explorers on YouTube are always delving into some awesome abandoned sites and coming up with treasure.
For one guy, it was a cave full of hundreds of abandoned cars, while for another, it was a vehicle that had been out of production for five decades in an old house.

Over in Belgium, one explorer stumbled across a derelict showroom full of classics.
That’s not forgetting this derelict house, which was hosting a Mercedes SLK and a Lotus on the grounds.
