This US humanoid robot had left people shocked at how well it was able to do the laundry.
It’s no secret that robot technology is making its way into our everyday lives, with the use of AI becoming increasingly popular.
But now, the robots can actually undertake simple tasks too, which could make our lives a whole lot easier.
One CEO shared a video of a robot doing laundry for him, and the sight was astonishing.

This US humanoid robot was able to do the laundry and shocked people with its ability
Robots are clever pieces of machinery, but now it turns out that the technology behind them is getting ever smarter, with the machines now able to carry out household chores.

Figure CEO Brett Adcock shared a video on X of the Figure 02 robot doing some laundry, and the post shocked users worldwide.
In the video, he showed the robot bending down and carrying out the task smoothly and with ease.
“For context, we’ve been running AI models doing laundry at the office for over a month now. It’s exciting to see Helix running in real homes,” the CEO said in a later post.
But people online simply couldn’t believe the humanoid robot
“Kids growing up with a robot in the house…….I can’t describe how bl***y jealous I am,” said one user.
“Will it get faster and quicker with the chores? When can I order this? This is the best human invention,” commented another viewer.
“Can it fold the clothes and wash dishes, and put them up? Asking for a friend,” a third person said.
Figure 02 was also filmed completing the laundry at an office, proving the robot is almost a pro.

“Figure is the first-of-its-kind AI robotics company bringing a general-purpose humanoid to life,” stated the company itself.
And it’s clear to see that it’s carrying out its promise, with the company revealing its Helix invention this year too.
Helix is ‘a generalist Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model that unifies perception, language understanding, and learned control to overcome multiple longstanding challenges in robotics’ that is used by the Figure 0.2 robot to be able to perform tasks.
Robots are taking over in the car world
AI and robots are slowly but surely integrating their way into the car world, especially within EVs. The inventions assist and even take control of cars to make drivers have an easy ride.
Tesla, for example, has recently launched its Robotaxi service, which makes awkward conversations with taxi drivers an issue of the past.
Plus, one Californian man also shared how the Tesla Optimus robot serves popcorn in the new Tesla LA diner.
