An American man who won a Lamborghini Gallardo from MrBeast has revealed what advice the YouTuber gave him once the cameras stopped rolling.
MrBeast is renowned for his generous giveaways, that much we know.
But one side of the YouTuber that we don’t see all too often is his what he’s like when he’s not hosting challenges and contests.
A man who participated in a MrBeast challenge has taken to Reddit to spill the beans.
This is what MrBeast said to one man after he won a Lamborghini Gallardo
Over the years, MrBeast has developed quite an unusual track record with Lamborghinis.
You may recall that he crushed one in a hydraulic press, while he had another one shipped off to Mat Armstrong after a viral stunt left it in pieces.
But he’s not just subjecting Lambos to chaos – he’s also giving them away as prizes.

A few years back, he spent the day as an Uber driver.
Now, the concept of having MrBeast as your Uber driver is already surreal enough, but there was an additional twist.
You see, the YouTuber would arrive to his pick-up spots in a super fancy car, and he’d hand over the keys to said car when he dropped his passengers off.
Talk about having a lot to take onboard.
One lucky man was gifted a Lamborghini Gallardo, which he described as ‘the craziest thing that’s ever happened to me in my life’.

We can see why he came to that conclusion.
After his NDA expired, he took to Reddit to share his side of the story.
In particular, he wanted to share some words of advice that MrBeast gave him.
“While I eventually figured out that it was actually MrBeast, he turned off a few hidden cameras I didn’t even notice (first time in a car this expensive), [and] he told me to sell it as soon as he signed it over to me,” he explained.
Why did he suggest this?
Because the luxury car tax in his state of residence was $6,000 and it would kick within 60 days.
So unless he had $6,000 to spare, he was looking at a big bill.

Did this man keep hold of his new car or did he listen to the YouTuber?
Ultimately, he decided to listen to the advice he had been given and sold the car for $95,000.
He still got some use out of the car before he sold it, so we can chalk this one up as a win-win.
It was for the best that he sold the car, as he admitted that he couldn’t afford a car at the time MrBeast picked up as a passenger.
That $6,000 bill, in addition to insurance premiums, wouldn’t have been pretty.
With the cash earned from the sale, this man purchased a new Honda Civic, went on a few shopping sprees, and invested in his future.
Following stints at LadBible, The Sun, The New York Post, and the Daily Mail, Ben joined the team full-time in February 2025. In his role as Senior Content Writer, his sparkling copy, the ability to sniff out a good story at 100 paces, and a GSOH quickly led to him becoming an integral and invaluable member of the writing staff.
