This US-built yacht reportedly had $20 million worth of upgrades over the years — and the result is mind-blowing.

From systems to help the captain communicate to a completely new galley, the Uh Oh yacht was in tip-top condition.

However, when it was recently put up for sale, the asking price seemed to be a lot less than what the total repairs amounted to.

But, it was thanks to the extensive work that the 1990s yacht was still taking to the open seas with ease.

The Uh Oh’s impressive features

The Uh Oh, a 118′ tri-deck motor yacht boasts a seriously cool design.

Brought to life by Swiftships, the yacht includes a ‘full beam master suite with his and hers heads’, a salon, and even a skylounge that comes ready with an entertainment space and lounge.

But that’s not all.

Uh Oh specifications:

Beam: 25′ 3″

Hull Material: Aluminium

Fuel Tank: 1x 8350/gallon

Fresh Water: 1 x 2150/gallon

Holding: 1 x 1000/gallon

Cabins: 7

Heads: 11

Other upgrades included a new ‘reimagined galley’ to accompany the custom flame mahogany woodwork, plus an electronics suite with top-of-the-art communication systems.

“Built to heavy commercial specs yet finished with yacht-quality luxury, she offered the best of both worlds: adventure-ready reliability with refined elegance,” stated HMY Yachts

How much did the US-built yacht actually sell for?

Auto Evolution reports that the vessel ended up having over $20 million worth of refits over the years, with the most recent refit taking place in 2024.

Even though the vessel was clearly in good shape, the asking price, as per Denison Yachts, sat at $2,495,000, that’s around a tenth of the reported upfit costs.

It’s not the only yacht that’s been sold with enviable features on board, with Lamborghini selling its first 101-foot superyacht, and the Dubai Crown Prince’s $180M yacht boasting a gym designed by Usain Bolt.
