The Ferrari LaFerrari is one of the most beautiful supercars made in Italy, but not every one of the 499 rear mid-engine beasts is the same, and this particular one highlighted on social media is truly one-of-one.

Named ‘The Ferrari’, it was the car that pushed the Italian manufacturers farther than before and set a new benchmark of supercar development.

As the first full hybrid car made by Ferrari, the LaFerrari is seen as the father of the SF90 Stradale, and is held in the highest regard by lovers of the brand.

But this one specific car showcased on Reddit stands on its own four wheels as the only one of the 499 units to have a special feature.

LaFerrari Azure Dino is a one-of-one beauty

Owned by supercar collectors like Travis Scott and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, the LaFerrari turns heads at every occasion.

But one stands out above the crowd: The LaFerrari Azure Dino.

Based on the ’60s Dino models, this beauty shimmers like the sky reflected on the track floor, like an oasis in the desert, like a diamond embedded in asphalt.

This scintillating LaFerrari Azure Dino is the only unit in the supercar series to be made with this sky blue paint that steps away from the ordinary Rosso red and yellow paint that the brand is associated with.

It’s reportedly owned by a man in the Middle East who also owns an F40 in the same color.

The ‘Azzurro’ blue is a vintage Ferrari hue, but it is scarcely used these days.

Historically adopted by legendary Ferrari drivers such as Clay Regazzoni on their racing overalls, the bold color has now been introduced as a tribute to its past for LaFerrari successors like the Ferrari 296 GTS.

Key Features: Ferrari LaFerrari

Rare LaFerrari’s spotted in the wild

This LaFerrari Azure Dino isn’t the only blue supercar in the range, though.

Another ‘Blue Elettrico’ model was made, and recently sold for over $4 million – a stark improvement on its $1.5 million price tag.

Despite being a rare species, the LaFerraris aren’t camera shy, and as a flagship model in the brand’s history, they often attract cameras.

Which is why it was astounding when one pulled through a McDonald’s drive-thru with another Aperta.

This specific Azure Dino model is often spotted on the road, and even had a small bump on the front, damaging the paintwork with a small scratch.

Knowing how much it costs for parts on these incredible cars, you can understand why the owner hasn’t shipped it back to Italy for a repaint.

Still, this Ferrari LaFerrari remains one of the rarest cars to be made in the Maranello factory, and will continue lighting up the roads in the Middle East.
