This is the moment a Waymo self-driving taxi had a lightning-fast response after a car backed into its path.
In the clip, the Waymo vehicle is making along a road at night when all of a sudden a car backs into its path.
The autonomous taxi sounds its horn and quickly moves out of the way – narrowly avoiding a smash.
The footage was shared on Reddit, where it quickly gained plenty of attention from folks impressed with its response time and claiming a human driver couldn’t compete.
