Take a look at this mesmerizing footage of the Volonaut Airbike soaring through a forest as it maneuvers gaps not much wider than the creation itself.
With the company aiming to achieve 10-minute journeys, the clever bike has proved to be successful in a daring trip into the woods.
The technology, that looks like it belongs in a sci-fi movie, has proved that a new era of travel is on the horizon.
But the bike’s test flight isn’t the only impressive thing that it’s capable of, as you’ll find out.

The Volonaut Airbike is straight from the future
When we think of future transport, hovering vehicles often come to mind.
But it turns out that one company is simply bringing the future to us with this new invention.
Enter the Volonaut Airbike.

The company recently shared impressive footage of the bike in action in the middle of a forest to give gearheads a feel for it.
“One of the Volonaut Airbike unique abilities is navigating through tight spaces that are barely wider than the vehicle itself,” the company explained next to footage.
But, that’s not all the bike is actually capable of.
You see, the bike is made of carbon fiber, which means that it is seven times lighter than motorcycles that we’re all used to.
The bike is also powered by ‘jet propulsion and is designed to carry one person with speeds up to 200km/h or 124mph’.
Riding through the forest provides a sweet view too – with 360-degree visibility from the bike that is powered by a system that stabilizes it, further enhanced by a special flight computer.
You have to admit, it really is straight out of a science-fiction movie.
“The project has just come out of ‘stealth’ mode after years of development by Polish inventor and entrepreneur Tomasz Patan,” explained Volonaut further.

But, the best bit? You don’t need a license to operate the invention in the US, and it is even able to refuel in under one minute.
Hovercrafts could be the future of travel
Now we’ve seen the Airbike, there are a few other futuristic modes of travel that are making the impossible now possible.
In fact, one welder created a Cyberbike Hoverboard, which is way cooler than the actual Tesla Cybertruck itself.
Plus, there’s even a super cool jet-powered Flyboard available, which is a cross between a surfboard and a skateboard.
