This Volonaut speeder bike has brought Star Wars to life with a ripping 63mph top speed and nothing but the Force powering its hopes and dreams.
While pop culture will likely never be able to truly settle the sci-fi battle between Harry Potter and Star Wars, there’s an undeniable category where the Galaxy Far, Far Away has a considerable lead:
It’s vehicles.
Now, one company has built its own Star Wars speeder bike, and it’s $880k of pure brilliance.

This Volonaut speeder bike is Star Wars personified
When you think Star Wars vehicles, you can be forgiven for heading to the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star-destroying X-Wing.
But it’s the speeder bikes that are some of the most nimble and impressive vehicles, playing as a thin hovercraft that can weave through Ewok-laden forests.
Volonaut agrees and has been building its own speeder bike for years.
With a top speed of 63mph, the hovercraft ‘Airbike’ was built by Tomasz Patan, a former eVTOL engineer who worked on Jetson ONE.

It’s not the only Star Wars-esque hovercraft, with the XTurismo flying bike also mimicking the speeder bike in appearance and being valued at the same price as a Ferrari.
But the skinnier model in the Volonaut locker is much more akin to its movie likeness, and can stand on its own as an exemplary eVTOL.
Having first been revealed back in April, the price has been revealed, and orders are now being placed.
You can watch the hovercraft in action in the video at the top of this page…
For sale, it is
In the wise tone of Master Yoda, ‘For sale, it is’.
As of August 1, the preorders page on Volonaut is set to go live, where the $880k speeder bike will become available.
By comparison, that’s more than a Ferrari SF90 Stradale.
But can the Ferrari fly at highway speed? No.

Usually, Star Wars memorabilia is where the money is, but this likeness piece of engineering brilliance looks to be an absolute goldmine.
