Manchester United players laughed at Tevez’s Audi so Wayne Rooney gave him a Lamborghini

Soccer player Carlos Tevez was the victim of ridicule when his fellow Manchester United players laughed at his Audi, so in order to rectify the situation, Wayne Rooney gave him a Lamborghini.

Tevez and Rooney have a sweet relationship, being good friends, and with Rooney sparing Tevez’s blushes, it’s clear that they’re there for each other.

Over his impressive and iconic career, Wayne Rooney has amassed quite the collection of supercars including a couple of classic British sports cars and luxurious Lamborghini.

Tevez was given an Audi by Manchester United when he first started playing for them, but even the ‘worst players’ had a Ferrari at the very least.

His fellow Manchester United players laughed at his Audi

Wayne Rooney, best known for being a star striker for the British soccer team Manchester United seems to be a very generous friend, once gifting his teammate Carlos Tevez a Lamborghini to spare his blushes.

When the Argentinian soccer player first arrived to play for Man U, he was given an Audi by the club. But his teammates allegedly mocked him as ‘even the worst player came with a Ferrari.’

Rooney is seen as a soccer all-star and over his career has amassed considerable wealth which he’s spent on many luxury cars, including British classics like a Bentley Continental GT and an Aston Martin.

Of course, the soccer star also owns a Lamborghini, which he decided to gift to his new teammate Tevez when he joined Man United.

Oh, a Lamborghini? You shouldn’t have…

Rooney and Tevez had a really special working relationship, with the Brit describing him as his favourite player to work with during his whole career.

They were so close that supercars were readily exchanged between them and despite their origins, they both found a lot of common ground with each other.

What a wholesome friendship!
