Cristiano Ronaldo, at the prime age of 40 years old, is still cutting about in the upper echelons of soccer, earning extraordinary sums of money to become the first billionaire soccer star, and spending it on some wild supercars.

Having been a prodigy of Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon from the age of 12, CR7 – as he is commonly known in the soccer universe – has made a number of high-profile moves in his career.

Switching from Manchester United in the UK to Real Madrid and Juventus in Spain, and Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, he’s been rewarded with contracts that support his claim to be the greatest of all time.

But his latest Al Nassr contract has tipped him into billionaire status, and that is reflected in his car collection.

Cristiano Ronaldo becomes the first billionaire footballer

Having moved on from a second stint at Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo signed a gargantuan deal with Al Nassr worth around $230m a year.

This quickly facilitated a new $73m private jet to escort him to training and games from the comfort of his Dubai mansion, and to his home in Madeira, Portugal.

This deal ran out in 2025, and he renewed a contract at the Saudi club until 2027, worth an additional $460m a year, reportedly.

Just a matter of months into this season, and Bloomberg has now claimed that he has become the first billionaire soccer star.

To put this into perspective, only LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Roger Federer, and Tiger Woods have achieved billionaire status through sports.

So, what does he spend his money on?

A worthy billionaire’s car collection

Most famously, Cristiano Ronaldo is a Bugatti superfan and is one of the very few people on the planet to own some rare models from the French manufacturer.

His Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse epitomises his love for the brand, having seemingly bought a second supercar – or restored the original – in this range after his bodyguard crashed the first.

Then, there’s the rare one-of-10 Centodieci in his garage.

On the hypercar front, Ronnie also owns a Chiron, a Ferrari Monza SP1 and F12 TDF, a McLaren Senna, a Chevrolet Camaro, a Lamborghini Aventador, and a ‘spaceship-esque’ Ferrari Daytona SP3.

But he also likes a bit of SUV luxury.

Mansory has gifted Cristiano Ronaldo cars in the past, namely a G-Wagen that was spotted in Dubai, seemingly serving as his daily driver.

The SUV lineup only gets better, too, as the billionaire soccer star rounds off his collection with a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Phantom Drophead, a Bentley Continental GT, and a BMW XM Red Label.
