Back in the mid-2000s, the Nintendo Wii was hugely popular mostly thanks to its innovative motion controls.
The game that made the Wii famous was Wii sports, and now it’s making a comeback so those ‘friendly’ family competitions can commence once again.
Classics like bowling, tennis, and chambara will be returning along with new game modes for soccer, volleyball, and badminton.
The much-loved motion controls will be returning with the Switch’s Joy-Cons replacing the original Wii remote.
As well as swinging and throwing, you can now kick the virtual soccer ball by attaching a Joy-Con to your leg with the included strap.
Just make sure all furniture, TVs, and children are well clear before you begin.
Nintendo Switch Sports will launch on April 29 with both local and online multiplayer.
And the rivalry can continue no matter where in the world your opponent is.
There will also be a free update available to add golf to the list of available events.
