A Scottish woman has celebrated beating cancer by taking a drive in a Porsche sports car.
Erin Lavery shared the story online, having documented her heartbreaking tale every step of the way.
However, one of her more recent posts saw her finally reveal she was cancer-free, grinning from ear to ear as she pointed at a sign she was holding up.
Her Instagram post gained over 4,000 likes and many people have commented with their support, and are applauding the bravery of the 22-year-old.

Erin documented her fight against cancer
The 22-year-old woman had documented her fight against cancer online, as she fought hard against the disease.
Erin is a beautician based in Cambuslang, Scotland, but had to put her business and career on hold after contracting the disease.
Following this, Erin decided to document her treatment and recovery as she went through radiotherapy.
Her Instagram also revealed she decided to purchase a Porsche sports car, as she looked to live her best life in the face of adversity.

Few could begrudge her buying her dream car, as she continued to battle the disease.
Thankfully, however, her story has had a happy ending, leaving her able to fully enjoy the sports car she has bought.
Erin celebrated being cancer-free in her Porsche
The young Scot posted a final treatment update on her Instagram page.
The song ‘Suddenly I See’ by KT Tunstall backed the video.
In the Instagram reel, she simply held up a sign that said ‘I’m cancer free.’
She then threw it to the side and drove off into the sunset in her car.
As you would expect, her comments section was full of so many people praising her for her bravery and congratulating her.
We reached out to Erin regarding her courageous battle, and she wanted to shout out to the Beatson Cancer Charity.
They are one of the best cancer charities in the UK, and they supported Erin massively throughout her treatment.
There is no denying how great the news is that she fought cancer and won.
We are also so happy for her that she can continue enjoying her best life.
Erin also posted videos of her telling her family she was finally cancer-free, with emotions running very high.
Well done, Erin Lavery, for being so brave and for beating a truly horrible disease.
