Woman learns the truth about why someone left a strange £50 bill on her car and can’t believe it

When this British woman learned the disappointing truth behind a strange £50 bill left on her car, she couldn’t believe it.

In the UK, it’s quite rare to see a £50 bill, so it was even more surprising for this woman to find one tucked under her windscreen wiper.

The £50 bill was joined on the windshield by a hastily written note.

And this note? Turned the woman’s day from bad to worse.

Why there was a strange £50 bill on her car

There’s no denying that your heart drops a bit when you see something tucked under your car’s windscreen wiper after you’ve been running errands.

When this British woman saw the money tucked under her windshield wiper, she was surprised. But that surprise turned to worry when she saw the note alongside it.

“Sorry I hit your car, I hope this helps,” the note read.

After spotting the damage, she pretty quickly realized that a £50 bill would do little to cover it.

The internet cracks the case wide open

A lot of people were shocked at the audacity that the perpetrator had to only leave £50 instead of their insurance details.

But others were skeptical about the whole situation, especially as it was posted by a body shop.

Some thought the video might have even been nothing more than a marketing ploy to create engagement.

One thing is for certain though, when something is usually left on your windshield, it’s never a good sign.
