This TikToker who’s obsessed with her Tesla took matters into her own hands in Walmart after she received the cost of maintenance for her Tesla from the car manufacturer itself.
Instead of paying the undisclosed price she was quoted for the maintenance, she decided to hit Walmart to see if she could buy the parts herself.
She only needed one cheap bottle of window washer fluid, paying barely anything for her entire yearly maintenance.
Commenters on her video were divided, though, wondering what she would do if the problem was a lot more expensive – like a dead battery.

Challenging Tesla’s two-year maintenance cost
TikTok content creator Rebecca Sophia Scott – AKA @beccasophiascott – is very proud to own a Tesla.
And really appreciates it for how low maintenance it purports to be.
At least, she did until last year, when she was hit with a high maintenance bill from the maker itself.
Scott even looked around local mechanics to see if they could help with her issue.
But many couldn’t or didn’t want to work on a Tesla.
She decided it was time to take action and go for the loving embrace of the nearest Walmart.
The TikToker was a woman on a mission, trying to find the small thing she needed to completely fix all her car’s maintenance costs.

Walmart saves the day
Scott was on a mission to find the cheapest window washer fluid, and her search was fruitful.
She found a huge bottle of the stuff for just $2.66, and after saying she ‘might get two’, the grand total of her maintenance was $5.32.
“Wait [till] your battery stops working you ain’t getting it from Walmart, try [$7,000] to $10,000,” one commenter chimed in.
Another added: “Wait till you have to replace a battery or module. Hope your luck continues tho…”
It seems that Scott got away with a tiny maintenance bill this time.
But the commenters are right, what will happen if something worse happens?
Does Walmart make Teslas?
Probably not… but Costco does sell Chevys, so it’s worth bearing in mind.
