This man showed off what the world’s most expensive first class looked like in an Etihad plane.
Harkirat Singh is an aviation blogger who has been on his fair share of fancy flights.
But when it came time to The Residence on an A380 aircraft, this was taking things to a whole other level.
This three-room suite has everything you’d need for a long-haul flight, but it’d cost you a ton.

Taking a closer look at the first class in an Etihad plane
It’s fitting that the first class suite is called The Residence, because you’d want to move in if you saw it.
With this suite, you’ll get a private bedroom, an ensuite shower room, and a living room space with a TV.

Not that the experience begins once you’re up in the air, mind you.
Down on the ground, you’ll be treated to a personalized welcome at the airport and a first-class experience in the lounge.
The experience is available at selected destinations, like London, Abu Dhabi, and New York City.
If all this sounds very nice, then prepare to get saving.

A flight between New York City and Abu Dhabi in The Residence would set you back $66,000.
That’s about $88 per flight minute, airguide.info reported.
Never before has a 12-hour flight looked so luxurious – and cost so much.

We’d all want to fly in style, right?
Singh’s video made its way onto Reddit, where people on an aviation forum shared their thoughts.
“I’m happy if my seat has a TV and I can look out of the window. What the f**k,” one person remarked.
“After a certain point, you’re better off renting (if not buying) your own private jet,” another said.
Some people who had gotten to experience The Residence shared their thoughts.

“It was excellent. We’d book the First ‘apartment’ and got an offer to bid for the flight back,” one said.
“I put in the lowest offer expecting nothing, but got the confirmation the day before flying. It’s frankly ruined flying for me now.”
“Got a deal on it for the London route. Insanely nice but almost a bit too much for just over six hours in the air,” another flyer offered.
“Not a ton of time to lounge and dine and sleep and shower, I wonder how frequently all the amenities actually get used.”
You know something’s good if people are saying they want more time on a plane.
But first class will do that to you.
Then there’s the guy who flew first class with Singapore Airlines and loved every second of it.
But don’t think it’s a given if you get a lifetime first-class ticket, as they can be revoked if you break a rule.
