This may be the ‘world’s worst Dodge Viper’ but the leopard print engine is truly the cherry on top.

This 1994 Dodge Viper made its way onto Facebook Marketplace recently.

It looked pretty shabby from the outside, but the real attention grabber was sat inside the hood.

The leopard print engine will conjure up mixed emotions, but one thing is for sure – it’s nothing like you’ve seen before.

We’ve seen a lot of cars that have been dubbed the ‘worst’ of their kind.

There was this 4×4 that some guys from Idaho found on Facebook Marketplace.

Another guy secured the ‘worst’ Porsche Boxster, whilst one YouTuber took a garish Toyota Yaris for a spin.

There’s a lot that can go into making a car the ‘worst’.

Some have really bad mechanics, like the Yugo GV, whilst others are just downright unsightly, like this X-90 SUV.

But for one Dodge Viper going for sale on Facebook Marketplace, it’s crimes were of a visual kind.

It may be no exaggeration to say this could be a crime against nature.

Not that we think the leopard print engine inside this engine is made of real fur.

But by gosh, it is… something.

The weirdest thing about it – and there’s a lot to pick at – is that it’s not something that’s going to be on show.

Why go to the hassle of getting that design put in there, when it’s just going to be covered up by a engine hood?

It was going for $35,000, and contained some flat disk wheels, but let’s face it – the engine is the real draw here.

Commenters online certainly seemed to think, regardless of whether they loved or loathed it.

“A Dodge Viper with a leopard print engine, is this what middle-aged men in the 90’s dreamed about?” one person wrote.

“This is horrible, I love it,” another commented.

There was also some people pointing out that this was a ‘cheetah print’.

To us, that seems like a case of same difference, but we’re not animal experts to be fair.

Unfortunately, the listing appears to no longer be available on Facebook Marketplace.

Whether that means the car’s found a new home or the owner decided to keep it, we can’t say.
