This YouTuber fixed his friend’s Audi S3 and, as an extra treat, he gave him an Audi R8 V10 as well.
This R8 was involved in a bad accident at some point, but it should be fixable, considering there’s no structural damage.
And there’s more good news, too.
This is because this R8 was probably a lot less expensive than you might think.

This Audi R8 was a potential bargain
Mat Armstrong – a YouTuber and garage owner – decided to fix his friend’s Audi S3 and document the whole thing for his second channel.
There was quite a lot needed doing, to be honest.
Mat and his team had to replace the turbo and the oil filter, upgrade the suspension and fix the front bumper and splitter.
That could’ve been enough for Mat’s friend but there was more.
Mat decided to give him a wrecked Audi R8 V10 as an extra treat.

The car was not in great shape, but it can be repaired with enough time and of course money.
One of the wheels is bent and there’s a lot of damage to the body, but the chassis and engine seemed fine, which is what matters.
Mat only paid £65,000 for it, equivalent to around $83,000 at today’s rate, which is not bad at all for a car worth well over $150,000 in good condition.
YouTuber turned workshop owner
Mat Armstrong created a channel that mostly focuses on buying totaled supercars and rebuilding them.
He’s been doing this for a while but his channel truly exploded in recent times, and it was mostly because of one video, which then led to a series of similar videos.

This is is the guy who famously bought Marcus Rashford’s Rolls-Royce, fixed it for about half the price, and then drove it back to Mansory when the company got involved.
He also did something similar with a Porsche GT3 RS and a classic BMW.
His YouTube channel(s) did so well for him that he ended up making enough money to buy a workshop he can use to build more cars and – well – create more content.
