A YouTuber who was filming a rare muscle car pulled out from a garage discovered a huge surprise in the neighbor’s hedge.
After initially just going to investigate the state of a Bristol muscle car, another find caught his eye.
The rare object was hidden deep in the greenery, out of plain sight.
But the hedge surprise proved to be quite the spark of interest for the gearhead.

Muscle cars are every gearhead’s biggest dream find.
From Dodge to Pontiac, the iconic cars are like gold dust.
For example, one lucky man found a Kentucky property full of trailers with muscle cars stashed in them and was blown away at his find.
One American muscle car even costs less than a used Toyota Corolla, and competes with a Ferrari.
Many muscle car finds are hunted down and found in old or abandoned places.
Sometimes, though, the jackpot can be hit unexpectedly, which this guy found out for himself.
YouTuber The Late Brake Show went to Hampshire in England to check out a rare Bristol 408.
The engine of the Bristol 408 was an American Chrysler 5.2 V8.

The cars are known to be rare today, with only a mere few Bristol 408s thought to actually be on the road.
This one in question has been sitting, neglected, for a number of years, meaning it was out of action.
After opening the garage and taking a look at the car inside, it was time to see how much work needed to be done.
Under the hood, quite a few mechanisms were in good shape, with the YouTuber expressing just how well Bristol 408 cars were made.
But the barn find that stole the show was actually lurking in the hedge just a short distance away,
“There’s a bonus, apparently it’s been here for probably 50 years,” he explained.
“I don’t even know what it is, I think it’s an Austin of some sort, pre-war, the front’s fallen off it.”

“Poor thing, probably never going to get back on the road again,” he concluded.
After cleaning up and enlisting some help, he managed to get the Bristol muscle car in the garage to run, over 40 years after it was put there.
You can catch all of the action below as the creator attempted to make the car in the garage run once more.
