YouTuber spontaneously buys the cheapest Mercedes-AMG in the world for $20,000 before running into issue he has no idea how to explain

This YouTuber spontaneously and impulsively bought the cheapest Mercedes-AMG in the world.

Unfortunately, he became quickly aware of the reason why the car was sold to him so cheaply.

The Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG looked in fine condition, but as he began to drive a lot of worrying problems began to rear their ugly heads.

He had to decide whether the car was worth the money he spent on it, even though it wasn’t all that much.

What makes it the cheapest Mercedes-AMG in the world?

YouTuber and Content Creator OG Schaefchen was at a car dealership for a photoshoot when his fancy was taken by an extremely cheap Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG.

He spontaneously decided to buy it without letting any of his friends and family know as a surprise.

The car cost $20,000, an absolute bargain when compared to the price of a brand new Mercedes, and initially the price seemed to be ridiculously good for how to car looked.

He thought the car was ‘random’ and very ‘cool’ but was aware that it needed some minor cosmetic work.

Not quite the bargain it seemed

Shortly after he got into it and started driving the V8 powered car, he began to realize some issues.

While it looked mostly fine on the outside, there were some visible rust patches and when he started up the engine it started to make a bizarre noise.

When put to the test drifting on icy roads, the rear differential didn’t lock correctly, causing issues.

Schaefchen didn’t like the fact the original radio was replaced by a newer one and the old gear system was confusing and felt outdated.

It was clear that issues with the transmission were getting worse when the car got stuck in fourth gear and wouldn’t shift down and his sentiments about having powerful components but a weak transmission were making a lot of sense.

Schaefchen hopes a transmission tune would be the solution to a lot of the car’s issues and hopes that he can get it back up to peak performance soon with a little bit of help.

Probably best not to try drifting in this one again though.
