When it comes to muscle cars, a barn find may not seem all that interesting these days, but a spicy rumor can always make something worthwhile, just like this alleged car thief hideout in the woods.

An explorer found this place, which had many cars, plus mostly all types of vehicles.

There was a house on this property, but it was covered by long trees, making it harder to reach.

Despite the hurdles, the explorer filmed everything, including some exciting rides in the bunch.

YouTuber found alleged car thief hideout in the woods

Before we get into the details, note that most of these everyday rides and muscle cars have been sitting in one place for decades now.

What that means is not every vehicle’s condition would be worth anything today, but some might just make for a worthy restoration project.

As for whether this was a stolen car collection or not, we’ll get into that later.

A YouTuber called Brandon Abandoned posted a video on his channel, where he filmed the entire property.

It started off promising, unlike most other barn finds, with a late 1960s Mercury Cougar.

The host initially thought that it was a Jaguar seeing its logo, but that’s an honest mistake.

He further showed a ’63 Chevy convertible, but it was as good as scrap — judging by its condition despite being under wraps.

Upon further inspection, it was revealed that it didn’t only have rare cars.

Instead, the property housed everything from wagons and pickups to tractors and boats.

In fact, two Piper PA-23 airplanes once existed on the property, but they were transported elsewhere before the YouTuber arrived.

Barn find with muscle cars and more

As seen in the video, the host also showed some excellent muscle cars and pickup trucks.

These would be of great value today had they not been abandoned out in the open.

Some others that he showed were a few Chevy Impala models, with one being a custom one, a Jeep Gladiator, and a Datsun 260Z.

Most cars were in pretty bad shape, but the trucks had survived and could still be driven today with a bit of work.

Regarding if it was indeed a car thief hideout, there’s also a solid chance that it wasn’t.

It’s actually a 50/50 situation, and there are no confirmations about it.

Judging by the range and types of vehicles, it could have been one.

However, farmers back in the ’60s and ’70s used to simply park their cars in one place rather than sell them off.

That’s precisely why some discoveries, like this barn find on a farm, reside on a farmer or ex-farmer’s property.

Considering this barn find was on farmland, it could very well be just that.
