A real estate company in Dubai surprised its top-performing agent with a free Lamborghini Urus.
No strings attached, no ifs or buts.
Obviously, this was probably a one-off and they don’t do this every month.
But we did the math and the truth is, they could actually propably afford it.
Imagine getting a free Urus as a bonus
In Dubai, standard rewards like generic shopping vouchers clearly don’t cut it – not when top performers are receiving a brand-new Lamborghini Urus as a performance bonus.
Leading real estate agency Richkey Properties recently shocked the market by surprising its top-performing agent with a brand-new Lamborghini SUV worth around $250,000.

This headline-grabbing reward sits at the heart of a much broader expansion strategy.
So the message is clear: work with us, sell homes, get a Lambo.
As far as talent acquisition pitches go, this is quite effective.
And after doing the math, we worked out giving the employee an Urus made financial sense.

Why this gift actually makes sense
A Lamborghini Urus starts at around $250,000 and the truth is, you don’t need to sell that many properties in Dubai to make as much in commissions.
For secondary residential sales, the industry standard is 2 percent of the total purchase price (plus 5 percent VAT), typically paid by the buyer.
In contrast, off-plan properties – purchased directly from developers, which is what a lot of buyers want – offer significantly higher payouts.

With that in mind, selling one seven-figure property a year is already enough to buy a car on that alone.
And we had a look at what Richkey Properties has to offer and, well, we figured out why the Urus makes sense.

Why the Urus is just a drop in the bucket
We did some research on Richkey Properties – mostly about staff size and sales volume – and it didn’t take long to work out that the Lambo Urus may have been just a drop in the bucket.
Property values across their active listings span distinct tiers.

For entry-level and mid-market investors, apartments range from $163,000-$490,000.
Family residences in established districts typically command a bit more than that: $545,000-$1.5 million.

But, as a major channel partner for high-profile developers like Emaar, DAMAC, and Sobha, much of Richkey’s focus centers on off-plan communities.
In these developments, entry prices for high-end apartments and single-family villas generally start at seven figures.
At the highest end, these properties can easily go for eight figures as well.

They employ over 200 agents and transact roughly 120 properties every month.
With that in mind, a $250,000 Lamborghini to their top salesperson is like a Sunday League team gifting a chicken dinner to their top scorer.
