This Texas dad had quite the day on his ranch when he took delivery of 17 classic cars and surprised his son with a dream birthday truck, as well as taking down a car thief.
A busy day for this Texas dad makes the rest of us look like serious underachievers, even though terrible weather meant that the sudden influx of 17 classic cars to the ranch was completely unexpected.
Some of the 17 classic cars were the rarest and spectacular ones we’ve ever seen, like a classic red Volkswagen Bug, a 2002 Shelby GT350 Prototype, and the third oldest Corvette ever sold.
Also included in the 17 cars that were delivered was a classic Toyota Stepside Truck, which had a surprise use: as a dream birthday truck for his son’s 16th birthday.

These 17 classic cars include a dream birthday truck
This Texas YouTuber made a video of the busiest day ever, including a birthday surprise, 17 classic cars, and even taking down a car thief.
YouTuber John Clay Wolfe first described in his YouTube video that they’d had a $200,000 Rolls-Royce stolen from their shop in town, but through private investigation and a sting operation, they’d had the thief arrested.
That was just in the morning, because later on that day, bad weather was forecast.
With the heavens threatening to open, the YouTuber and his team decided to move 17 classic cars acquired for their garage to the ranch for safety.
Among the collection were some true American classics and some of the rarest cars we’ve ever seen. But most excitingly, there was a surprise dream birthday truck hidden among the autos for a special 16 year old boy.
Here come the cars!
The move from town to the ranch was fairly chaotic, but all 17 of the cars arrived safely and in one piece. And some of them were true beauties.
Among the classic cars was a Hugger Orange Chevelle with an LS3 engine, an Indy Pace Car, a Pontiac 455 Super Duty, and even a car described as the ‘third oldest Corvette ever sold.’
The most special of them all, however, was an unassuming Toyota Stepside Truck, described as having ‘hips like Kim Kardashian.’
On the busiest of days, the YouTuber’s son also got his driver’s license, so his dream Birthday truck – the Toyota Stepside – was perfectly timed.
John surprised his son with the truck for his 16th birthday, and he was stunned and thrilled, especially when his dad described the resale value of the truck.
He then talked about getting a K5 Blazer for his 16th birthday from his dad, so he was pleased to carry on a fatherly tradition.
