Going to the DMV and taking a driver’s test is nerve-wracking enough, but this guy decided to test the limits even further and drive a Bugatti Chiron.
The W16 engine was also put to the test by the teen as he got behind the wheel, ready to earn his stripes on the road.
As you’d expect, the situation tested the driver’s knowledge and skillset to the max, but there was an added pressure of keeping the Bugatti safe and sound.
There were two possible outcomes for the test, and after the Chiron left the DMV parking lot, all eyes were on the rookie driver’s ability to control the hypercar.

A 17-year-old hopeful took his driver’s test in a hypercar
Think back to when you turned 17 and couldn’t wait to get your license.
You likely practiced in a Toyota or Nissan that wasn’t brand new, as your skills were developing.
This guy’s driver’s test was completely different, as, thanks to TheStradman, his test was taken in none other than a Bugatti Chiron.

Yes, that’s right, with millions of dollars worth of sophisticated engineering and an 8.0-liter powerhouse pushing it to a top speed of 260mph, it was a challenge.
No pressure, right?
17-year-old Matt was all smiles as he was picked up from high school in the Hellbee Bugatti Chiron, and soon got behind the wheel to drive over to the DMV.
The driver’s test started like any other, with the examiner testing if Matt knew where controls were located, before he took to the open road.

From switching lanes to reversing and parking, Matt was tested on his ability to drive the Bugatti Chiron safely.
TheStradman explained that he had set up cameras in the car that the DMV wasn’t aware of to capture the driver’s test as it was happening.

Once the Chiron was returned to the DMV center, it was time for the verdict.

Did the Bugatti Chiron prove successful for the driver?
To both 17-year-old Matt’s and The Stradman’s delight, the driver’s test was passed with one point lost overall for acceleration that was jerky.
So, it was good news all round, and Matt did what every teenager dreams of doing when they pass… tackling the McDonald’s Drive-Thru.

It was nuggets and fries for everyone after Matt proved that a Chiron is the perfect test companion.
Could this be the start of the DMV seeing an influx of supercars at test centers?
We sure wouldn’t risk it in a million-dollar car, but for those who can afford the insurance, it’s a luxurious option.
