  • This man covered a Chevy Impala in chrome
  • It’s a chrome wrap and not a paint or mod
  • He says it’s now worth $2 million

The owner of a classic 1964 Chevy Impala in Las Vegas covered it in a shiny chrome wrap then claimed it was worth $2 million.

No, it wasn’t hiding any expensive jewels underneath the hood.

The wrap was part of a restomod project during which the car had some newer parts installed to make it more modern.

But unless those new parts were worth $1.95 million, the $2 million asking price is interesting to say the least.

Chevy Impala wrapped in chrome is the flashiest of them all

As iconic (and old) as the Chevy Impala is, it came with quite a few paint options, but there certainly wasn’t anything as flashy as this chrome wrap.

It’s like a giant mirror on wheels, and as unusual as it may seem, it’s not the first.

You see, someone converted a Tesla Cybertruck into a giant mirror, albeit that wasn’t a wrapped vehicle.

Anyhow, the pros at Houdini Wraps — a customization shop in Las Vegas, Nevada, decided to give this Chevy Impala an all-chrome exterior.

It’s shiny, flashy, and turns heads from miles away.

However, everything has a downside — and this Impala is a victim of what experts call ‘too much attention.’

You see, everyone sees this mirror-like Chevy Impala and wants to touch it.

That’s precisely why the wrap quickly loses its shine, as it’s a huge fingerprint magnet.

The unbelievable $2 million price tag

While a good chunk of these cars lie abandoned in shady locations, they are of great value to others.

As for the price, the man driving it, who goes by Mr.Gotdamnit, says it’s worth $2 million.

Before you rush to find the prices — it’s obvious an Impala can’t cost that much.

Well, not unless it comes with a bag full of $1.95 million in cash.

Most Impalas you find these days are restoration projects that were either parked and preserved for a long time or saved from barn finds like this one in Indiana and given a new life.

There’s also no doubt that an Impala looks excellent — even by modern standards — after a proper restoration.

This rust-bucked Chevy Impala restored to its former glory proves that fact.

All things considered, take that $2 million price tag with a grain of salt.

All in all, it might even be worth that much to the owner, but when it comes to market price, he might be looking for a buyer for a while.
