A 1986 Pontiac Fiero has been transformed into a Lamborghini Diablo replica – and it’s up for grabs in Kansas.
It’s bright orange, fitted with scissor doors, and from across a parking lot, it gives off strong Lambo vibes. But make no mistake: under the custom bodywork, it’s still a Pontiac at heart.
Now listed for $18,500 on Facebook Marketplace, the car is catching attention for more than just its wild paint job.
It’s not a six-figure supercar – but would you still spend real money on a fake?

It’s orange, it’s loud, and it’s definitely not a real Lamborghini
The base car is a 1986 Pontiac Fiero, but it’s been given a full Diablo-style makeover.
The body panels have been swapped out for replica components and painted in pearlescent orange.
Scissor doors add to the supercar illusion, and the interior’s been upgraded with black leather trim, a Momo steering wheel, a digital rearview mirror, and an updated head unit.

Power comes from a supercharged V6, though the listing doesn’t confirm exact figures. It’s paired with a GM 4T63-E automatic transmission, and the odometer reads 79,000 miles.
According to the seller, it runs and drives.
The price tag might be the boldest part of the build
This replica was originally listed at $20,000, but has since dropped to $18,500 – putting it in the same range as brand-new economy cars.
That makes it an interesting offer: a budget supercar lookalike, complete with flashy doors and a boosted engine. It’s not pretending to be the real thing – but it’s definitely aiming to turn heads.

Replica builds like this have their own following, and this one clearly reflects a lot of time and effort. Will it manage to find a buyer? That’s another story.
Would you take the plunge on this faux-Lambo, or stick with something that is what it says it is?
