The 2026 Ford F-150 Lighting STX has officially arrived ahead of next year.
Ford’s electric pickup offerings haven’t exactly been the most popular option with buyers.
But the American giant is determined to stick it out and change the mind of its traditional customer base.
And the 2026 F-150 Lighting STX has already made a good start – because it fixes its predecessor’s flaws for no extra cost.

Ford keeps the faith in electric trucks for 2026
Electric trucks haven’t exactly been flying off the lots as of yet for manufacturers.
But Ford clearly sees that segment as being a key part of its future in the car industry.
As a matter of fact, Ford’s CEO has been the driving force behind the brand’s focus on electrification.
Jim Farley has been adamant that his brand has no future if it cannot compete in the EV segment.
So the Blue Oval marque appears to be sticking put in keeping the faith with electrified offerings.
To that end, the 2026 Ford F-150 Lightning STX has been officially unveiled.

It is set to serve as the direct successor to the XLT offering for 2025.
But this offering is different, because it is offering what customers have been asking for.
It is coming with more power, more range, and a much tougher stance.
Dual electric motors will now produce 536hp, an 84hp jump compared to the XLT.
The torque figures remain the same at 775lb-ft, with power delivered to all four wheels.
2026 F-150 Lightning STX will be the same price
Oh, and we still haven’t mentioned the single-most important factor in all of this.
And what makes it even more fascinating is that the biggest factor is what isn’t changing.
That factor, as you might have guessed, is the price.
Prices for the 2026 F-150 Lightning STX start with an MSRP of $63,345.
This price is almost exactly identical to the XLT trim that it is replacing.

At this point, you might be asking – when is the new STX truck actually hitting dealerships?
Well, the first examples of the 2026 F-150 Lightning STX are expected very soon.
They will hopefully be heading to Ford dealerships in early 2026.
Given the upgrades for the same price, Ford has cause to be optimistic.
As a matter of fact, it is hoping that the 2026 Lightning STX will be one of its top sellers.
What do you think of the new Ford F-150 Lightning STX? Will it be a top seller by the end of next year?
