The 2026 Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo is potentially an ideal all-rounder.
Based on the ‘regular’ Taycan, the Cross Turismo comes in with good range and amazing charging capabilities.
It’s fast, too.
There’s only one ‘minor’ issue.

The Cross Turismo is – almost – virtually identical to the ‘normal’ Taycan
The Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo is virtually identical to the 4S sedan in terms of performance, but there are a few things worth noting.
It uses the same dual-motor powertrain as the Taycan 4S, which produces 590 horsepower and guarantees a 0-60mph time of just 3.2 seconds, but it’s slightly less efficient, mostly because it’s taller and slightly heavier.
As a result, its aerodynamic abilities are affected, and that always hinders performance and efficiency.

It charges from 20 to 80 percent in just 22 minutes, which is not record-breaking but still super fast.
The only minor problem is the price.
In this configuration, it starts at $132,950, which makes it about $1,000 more expensive than the sedan.
More to the point, it makes it a very expensive car.
A car that costs well over a hundred grand isn’t exactly for everyone.
There are actually three Porsche Taycan models

We tend to forget that, sometimes, mostly because Porsche’s naming strategy is a bit confusing, there are actually three Taycan models.
In addition to the Taycan sedan, there’s the Cross Turismo and the Sport Turismo.
The Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo are visually very similar, and most people would probably struggle to tell which is which.
The key difference is that the Cross Turismo is a bit more performance-focused, whereas the Sport Turismo is longer and bigger, more like a ‘real’ station wagon.

For now, Porsche only makes electric sedans, wagons, and SUVs – no sports cars.
That’s probably going to change in the future.
The upcoming 718 replacement should be available both as a hybrid and an electric vehicle.
