The Bugatti Bolide is a freak of nature, a track-only hypercar.
Unveiled online in 2020, the Bolide takes Bugatti to the absolute next level.
Over recent days, a Bolide decided to take on the Nurburgring in Germany.
And Bugatti’s track-focused flagship did something absolutely incredible.

Bolide makes its bow online in 2020
October of 2020 saw the unveiling of the Bolide by Bugatti.
As you might have guessed, the Bolide shares the platform of the Chiron.
However, this is an extremely hardcore version of an already extreme hypercar.
It remains powered by the 8.0 liter, quad-turbocharged W16 that we’ve all come to know and love.
But the Bolide manages to back an even bigger punch than its sibling.

Bugatti has managed to get the Bolide to the point of producing over 1,825bhp.
This is down to bigger blades in the turbochargers, as well as a different turbocharger orientation.
All of this work and development has yielded truly impressive results, too.
For example, this track-only demon will accelerate from 0-60mph in just 2.2 seconds.
That also means a 0-124mph in an astonishing 4.4 seconds – not bad, right?
Bugatti Bolide blasts rival out of the water
We’ve emphasised pretty heavily how much of a track-only monster the Bolide is.
Recently, it decisively proved just how much of a monster is truly is.
In a recent YouTube video, Misha Charoudin captured something pretty special.
Charoudin had the privilege of riding shotgun in a Bugatti Bolide.
But this wasn’t just any experience – this was a drive around the legendary Nurburgring.
And the Bolide managed to do something that only it can.
On its travels, the Bolide happened to encounter a Porsche 911 GT3s.
As you are probably aware, the 911 GT3s is far from a slouch on the track.
But the Bugatti absolutely blasts past its German rival on the iconic track.
Not that we would expect anything less, but still – the Bolide is a true beast.
