If you’ve ever found yourself growing frustrated while using a chatbot then this $800-a-day job as a ‘professional AI bully’ might be up your street.
For the most part, chatbots are there to carry out simple tasks and offer helpful advice, like helping you write a letter, building you a budget, or explaining why your car is making that weird noise.
But let’s face it, the technology is far from perfect, and chatbots have been known to hallucinate, go rogue, and at times act a bit creepy.
And if any of the above has ever left you feeling frustrated or annoyed – then this job might be what you’re looking for.

The company wants you to vent your frustrations about the AI bot
AI memory solutions company Memvid is on the hunt for a ‘professional AI bully’ who will ‘spend an entire day yelling at chatbots’ – sounds easy enough.
The unusual job listing is asking for someone who will spend eight hours interacting with leading chatbots and your ‘only job is to be brutally honest about how frustrating they are’.

“Ask them to remember things. Watch them forget. Ask again. Document the chaos. Get mad about it. Get paid for it,” the listing reads.
Duties throughout the one-day role include engaging in lengthy conversation with various chatbots across multiple platforms, and testing their memory by asking them to recall previous context or conversations.
You’ll need to document ‘every failure, meltdown, and circular conversation’ and then provide ‘unfiltered, honest reactions’ with the company stressing the more frustrated the better.
And we can imagine after spending a solid eight hours engaging with bots, your frustrations will be at the forefront and your temper will be frayed.
The ideal candidate, according to Memvid, is someone who has a long history of being let down by tech and strong opinions about why artificial intelligence should be better than it is.
You’ll need some patience to repeatedly ask a chatbot the same questions over and over, and be comfortable being on camera.
Fortunately, no prior AI bullying experience is required.
Fancy spending a day bullying a bot? Here’s how to apply

The role is for a one-off, eight-hour day of work, with a $100 hourly rate – so you’ll get $800 for your shift as a professional chatbot bully.
If you fancy giving it a go, you can apply on the Memvid website, but the company does have a couple of qualifying questions you’ll need to answer first.
You’ll need to share ‘the most frustrating thing AI has ever done to you’ and explain why you should be chosen as the professional bully.
