This 90-ton Blue Origin rocket was seen being transported down the highway, and it was an absurd sight.
Imagine in your mind’s eye what a rocket traveling along a highway would look like.
Well, the reality is way bigger than what you could expect.
This thing basically takes up the entire road, and people can’t quite believe it.

This Blue Origin rocket was filmed traveling along a highway, and it blew everyone’s minds
The truck bearing the load of this gigantic rocket looks like a toy by comparison, and the road it’s driving along a mere toy track.
And get this – this isn’t even the entirety of the rocket.
This appeared to be the first stage booster of Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket.

When fully together, this rocket stands at more than 320 feet tall.
That’s nearly 20 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty.
Visualize Lady Liberty traveling on her back along a highway, and you’ll appreciate the scale of this rocket.
And – as if all of that wasn’t enough to take in – this isn’t even the biggest rocket in town.

SpaceX’s Starship takes that title, standing tall at 403 feet.
X reacts to the New Glenn on the move
Why is New Glenn being driven exactly?
Well, it looked as if it was on its way to being launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida.
This was Blue Origin’s second attempt at executing the mission, previously attempted in January.
On X, people were left stunned by the sight of the rocket being driven along.

“Wild to think that something that’s been to space is just cruising down a Florida highway,” one person commented.
“Largest moving day ever,” another joked.
This is just one way that Blue Origin has found itself in the headlines this year.
Perhaps the biggest story was Katy Perry heading up into space as part of an all-woman crew.
That 10-minute trip cost Jeff Bezos $3 million – but was priceless in terms of the amount of publicity it brought in.
