This is the Forge, a 262-foot concept yacht inspired by an active volcano.
Everything from the sun deck to the hull of the ship follows a volcanic theme, including the interior.
And there’s a good reason for that.

The man who designed the Forge spent a lot of time near Mount Vesuvius in Italy.
He loved it so much he decided to devote an entire superyacht to the active volcano.
The structure of the hull is adorned with pyramid shapes made from aluminium, painted in obsidian black.
In addition to that, there are several angular decks finished in bright ‘lava’ orange.
Because of its unorthodox design language, the interior of the yacht reveals some interesting features.
For example, there’s a sky lounge with vaulted ceilings due to the yacht’s conical shape.
The owner’s suite is the party piece, featuring a spectacular panoramic ceiling.
Moreover, the staircase resembles an eruption of molten lava.
Everything else inside the concept yacht is understated and sober to offset the crazy exterior.
In spite of the outlandish nature of the project, it still has all the modern amenities you expect from a yacht of this size.
There’s a swimming pool on the sun deck and each suite has a balcony.
Guests can also enjoy a fully equipped gym, a lounge bar and even a sauna.
And as a cherry on top, there’s also a helipad and a garage for your supercars.
The yacht by M51 Concepts is electric, and according to its designer, has a range of 5,000 nautical miles.
In theory, that’s good enough to travel across the Atlantic Ocean.
And the price?
The company is keeping details under wraps but yachts of equivalent size usually cost a fortune.
You’re looking at a hefty price tag, anywhere between $150 million and $250 million.
