This is the all-new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in Royal Blue and it is absolutely stunning.

The model was just unveiled at the Geneva Watch Days, the most important watch event of the year which is currently underway in Switzerland.

The watch completes the ‘trilogy’ of all-ceramic models that AP inaugurated with the black ceramic one in 2017.

Two years later, the brand introduced the all-white one.

Just like with the other two models, the 41 mm case on this watch is made entirely out of blue ceramic.

The same material was used for the bracelet, with the exception of the folding clasp which is made from titanium.

On the dial, you’ll find four sub-dials for the perpetual calendar, indicating the month, day, and moon phase.

Thanks to this feature, the watch will show the accurate date for the next 100 years, including leap years.

Celebrities absolutely adore the Royal Oak, especially the ceramic one.

Drake and Jay-Z both have one, as does Kevin Hart.

Even soccer players love it, from FC Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski to Liverpool and Netherlands star Virgil Van Dijk.

Van Dijk was actually wearing one when he met celebrity chef Salt Bae at his restaurant in Dubai.

This brings us to the elephant in the room.

There’s no doubt the watch is beautiful, but there’s a catch.

It is nigh on impossible to get one.

Brands like Audemars Piguet love to make their timepieces feel unattainable and this is no exception.

Price? Only available on request.

Availability? Only by appointment.

How many pieces will be made? Audemars Piguet won’t reveal how many it will make.

So, if you’re really keen to get your hands on one, we wish you the best of luck.

You’ll need it.
