People can't work out if this Nissan R35 GT-R doing an incredible 360-degree drift is real or not

With the growing popularity of AI, it’s hard to know what’s real and what’s not.

And this video is the perfect example.

People are struggling to work out if this insane stunt pulled off by a Nissan R35 GT-R is real or not.

We’ve got to admit it – it’s left us wondering, too.

The video, posted to Instagram by cjsc4hunnid, shows the grey-colored JDM sports car driving at night.

As the Nissan R35 GT-R approaches a set of tolls, the driver swerves to change lanes, but the sharp action sends the car into a spin.

You’d put money on the heavily-modified car crashing into the toll and getting totaled.

But the driver manages to pull off an incredible 360-degree drift, passing through the toll unscathed.

Having successfully navigated the toll while in a spin, the driver then gives it some gas and speeds away.

The rear end steps out as the car slides sideways leaving behind some dirty big tire marks.

After fishtailing and leaving behind a cloud of white smoke, the Nissan R35 GT-R steadies itself and rejoins traffic as it enters a tunnel.

The video had us thinking that it’s the real deal, but the comments section suggests otherwise.

Apparently, the footage is the Shutoko Revival Project – a mod for the Assetto Corsa video game.

But we weren’t the only ones convinced it was real.

“Wait… this is a game? Graphics have gotten too realistic,” one user commented.

“The graphics were so good I watched it five times to see if it was real,” another said.

“Watched way too many times, those graphics are like butter,” said a third.

Others weren’t so easily fooled.

“Of course it’s a game lol, nobody gonna do that through a toll lane because the gates will be down before you pay,” one said.

“I don’t know what it is but a lot of people that think this is real I don’t get it. Like I always notice instantly because of lighting and camera movement no matter how good it looks,” another posted.

“It’s literally a GT-R and y’all thought it was drifting. They’re AWD,” another said.
