Apple provides official advice after Apple Watch owners all have same problem

Apple has had a tough time of late, with iPhone users facing multiple issues with their devices.

There’s been well-documented issues with overheating, not to mentione some users experiencing screen burn-in issues, and even reports of handsets changing color, too.

While such issues appear to have been resolved, now Apple Watch users are having problems with their devices.

Users occasionally have to do software updates to get new features, security updates and bug fixes.

But after downloading the latest update, watchOS version 10.1, a host of Apple Watch users have been left disappointed.

Users are claiming that their battery has suddenly been draining super quick since they updated their device.

One Reddit user claimed their Apple Watch Series 6 won’t charge over 50 percent and that the battery ‘drains in about 15 minutes’.

Another social media user claimed their Apple Watch went from ‘100% to 50% in less than 60 mins’.

Although the reason behind why Apple Watch users are experiencing battery draining issues remains unclear, Apple is apparently working hard to fix it.

According to MacRumors, an internal memo sent to Apple Authorized Service Providers claims an update is ‘coming soon’.

In the meantime, though, you can check your Apple Watch’s battery capacity to rule out any other causes.

To do this, you need to click on ‘Settings’ and scroll down to ‘Battery’ before heading onto ‘Battery Health’.

Here you’ll find your current charge level along with a detailed graph showing your watch’s charging habits.

It’s possible to compare your current results against when the Apple watch was brand new to see how much it’s depleted.

According to Apple, those with a lower capacity may have less hours of usage before they have to put it on charge again.
