There’s a man who exploited a loophole in a space treaty to make money with a genius move.

This man is selling lunar deeds, and he’s making a lot of cash.

Find out what how he did it in the video down below!

In 1967, 114 countries co-signed the Open Space Treaty.

This multilateral treaty forms the basis of space law and, among other things, it stipulates that countries and governments can not ‘own’ the moon.

The moon is ‘open’ to anybody.

For example, in recent times, India set a new world record by becoming the first country to land on the moon’s South Pole.

However, the treaty doesn’t mention anything about individuals.

Dennis Hope, the man who ‘owns’ the moon, wrote a letter to the government and since he’s received no response, he’s taken the government’s silence as a yes.

Amazingly, people are actually buying ‘deeds’ for land on the moon from him.

He’s made millions so far.
