The Burj Al Arab in Dubai is one of the world’s most famous and recognizable hotels.
And Red Bull landed an airplane on it.
There’s a helipad on top of the Burj Al Arab, so you’d think this was fairly normal.
The catch is Red Bull didn’t land a helicopter, which is what you’d do with a helipad – they actually landed an airplane.
As in, one that would ordinarily require a runway to land.
The helipad is only 27 meters long and the pilot had to train for two years for this stunt.
Amazingly, he pulled it off.
