This limited edition Jacob & Co watch is the Bugatti Chiron of the luxury watch world.
It features a fully-functional replica of the Chiron’s 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine – and you can actually see the pistons in motion.
In terms of materials used, the Bugatti Chiron Blue Sapphire Crystal speaks for itself – featuring 578 hand-made components that make up the watch’s intricate movements.

Lucky owners of the watch can actually see the 51 jewels used by looking at the case back.
One other cool feature is the power reserve function that resembles the Chiron’s fuel gauge – but we’re not sure which would last longer.
You will find a ‘Shock Protection System’, 18-karat rose gold accents, a rubber strap, and an 18-karat rose gold buckle on the Jacob & Co watch.
Each unit is said to take Jacob & Co watchmakers an incredibly long time to make, as it takes a staggering 120 hours to complete the case alone.
How much is the Bugatti watch?
The watch will set you back a cool $1.5 million.
And it’s not the first timepiece of its kind to be released.
Global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo also bought a similar timepiece from Jacob & Co.
Even though it’s impossible to determine an exact price tag considering Ronaldo’s watch was made-to-order, you can safely assume it cost him about US$1 million.
This particular model also features a miniaturised (and fully functioning!) W16 engine inside the watch.
Ronaldo became a brand ambassador for Jacob more than a decade ago and his Chiron timepiece is just incredible.
It’s made from titanium, featuring 232 baguette diamonds and 109 black sapphires, and of course the ‘CR7’ logo.
If you can’t afford the $1.5 million price tag of the Bugatti Chiron Blue Sapphire Crystal you can still purchase a Chiron Tourbillon, starting at US$300,000.
