In a jaw-dropping transformation, Jon Kotwicki is turning a DC-9 airplane into a cozy home.

It’s like something out of a wild dream, right?

But for Jon, it’s all about thinking outside the box.

This is not just for his own residence, but he is building it for the guests who want to experience something other than a lavish stay in a resort or a hotel.

Jon started working on this ambitious project some time ago, and now, he’s nearing the finish line.

In a recent update on his Instagram, he announced that the conversion is almost done, with just six more weeks to go.

That means, most probably by June 2024, this extraordinary stay will be ready for guests to enjoy.

While we have seen many projects like this – this conversion of Coca-Cola Truck into a home, for instance – but this is another amazing one.

So, what’s inside this one-of-a-kind airplane home?

Well, Jon’s been hard at work, focusing on the bathroom first, followed by the kitchen and cabinet installations.

From the looks of it, this place has everything a traveler could need.

There’s a master bedroom, another bedroom with a queen-sized bed, closets, a kitchen, and even parking for a car.

It’s like a home away from home.

But here’s where things get even more exciting – hidden behind a magical door at the end of the plane is a sauna.

Yes, you read that right.

It’s the ultimate luxury touch, making this residential plane even more unique and inviting.

Located in Big Lake, Alaska, this unconventional Airbnb promises a stay unlike any other.

Once the king of the sky, this DC-9 aircraft is now the king of accommodations, offering guests a truly unforgettable experience.

Thanks to Jon’s creative vision, DC-9 is getting a new lease on life as a unique living space.

Who knew that a plane could make such a cozy home?

So if you ever plan a trip to Alaska, why not book your stay at Jon Kotwicki’s DC-9 airplane house?

When it’s ready, of course.
